Fireflies on the Water

Last Thursday, I went "Whitney Museum" to see a exhibition "Summer of Love: Art of the Psychedelic Era" with my classmates. The exhibition was completely hallucinogenic and psychedelic like the title of the exhibition. It was totally full of works that represented the 1960s and the most shocking phenomena of that period. Jackie who is a teacher of my reading and writing class let me choose an artist in the exhibition and research about the artist. My artist was Yayoi Kusama who was one of the craziest artists in 1960s. She was born in Nagoya, Japan. After she had gotten physical abuses from her mother in her childhood, she suffered from a serious mental desease through her entire life. Therefore, some of her art works were horrible. On the other hand, others were extreamly beautiful like this photo. This art work's name is "Fireflies on the Water". It had been used mirrors, lights, and water. When I saw this outstanding instalation in Seoul, I just didn't go out the room.

Central park

,
When I visited The Solomon R.Guggenhiem Museum, I could see Central park that I saw a lot of time in Friends. After finishing homework, I went the park with my friend. The weather was great and there were many people who enjoyed jogging, playing games with their families, friends, and tanning with a bikini. One of surprising thing was the size of the park. Though I had walked for 2 hours, I couldn't even find the sign that let me know that place was a half point of the huge park. Anyway, it was great rest.

The greatest party

A couple weeks ago, I went "MoMA" in Queens. I didn't know the reason, but this museum was called "P.S.1 MoMA". There was a building looked like a factory. Sure enough, it was used as a factory. The exhibition in the MoMA was great. However, I actually didn't go to there to see the exhibition. One of my japanese friends recommended a party that has been opened in the museum every weekend until September. He said we could see his favorite DJ and listen to terrific electronic sounds. As his recommendation, I was totally exciting and dancing with my friends. It was a perfect weekend and the greatest party.
These days, I didn't use the internet at all in my house. When I set a modem to use an internet up, I had gotten some problems that drove me crazy, so using the internetin my little sweet(?) home was literally a challenge.Foutunately, it's working now!!!

Also, I can go another MoMA in Queens to free in 30 days. How wonderful!!
